Thank you to everyone that responded to our recent Customer Survey, we really appreciate your feedback! While you gave us great ratings overall (8.7/10 for the Post Office and 9.1/10 for the Shop), you also gave plenty of suggestions so we'd like to give an update on many of those now.
Labelling - We accept that the labelling on the shelves needs improving and we're making updates as we reorganise the layout of the shop
Cardboard screen at the till between customers and staff - We've replaced the temporary cardboard screens with a fixed clear plastic screen
Product packaging (bakery) - We have felt it necessary to wrap baked products as a Covid protection measure and will review this when restrictions are eased.
Untidy bins - We have acquired an additional piece of land and part of this will be used to store our bins, hidden by a fence.
Limiting of 2 customers - Under current restrictions, we cannot have more than 2 customers in the shop at any one time, but we hope that will be relaxed in the not too distant future.
Itemised receipts on deliveries - You should always receive an itemised receipt from us with your delivery. If you don't, then let us know and we'll get one to you.
Stock / Range
We are always looking for new items to stock, so please tell us if there is anything you would like. We will continue to try and source from local suppliers where possible.
Real ale - Unfortunately one of regular local suppliers (Nobbys) has ceased production, so we're seeking another local alternative and hope to have news on this soon
As a result of the survey, we now have Loose Leaf Tea and Stokes Mayonnaise and Chilli Jam in stock.
We are looking to increase the range of meats and other chilled products and are about to install a new chiller to enable us to do so. As always, you'll be able to pre-order your favourites to collect on your preferred day
Unfortunately, Miss Millies Crackers are no longer available, which is disappointing for all of us!
Where customers have requested particular brands of products, we will do what we can, but often they are not available to us. We are also limited by space as to the ranges we can stock so, while we may not have a particular brand, hopefully we will have a suitable substitute available.
